These delegates attend education sessions, networking events, council meetings, and industry programming, but do not participate in the prescheduled buyer–seller appointment program.

Buyer Qualifications

To participate in the appointment program, your company must:

  • Plan or operate group tours or charters
  • Produce at least 24 tour itineraries per year
  • Have been in business at least 2 years
  • Make purchasing decisions for tour components such as destinations, attractions, lodging, dining, or transportation

ABA may request company history or other information to confirm eligibility.

Appointment Program Requirements

Appointment-Taking Buyers:

  • Receive a booth and appointment schedule on the Business Floor
  • Must complete the Marketplace and membership (if member) company profiles before appointment requests begin on October 6, 2026 or within 2 weeks of registration.
  • Must attend a minimum of 95% of your prescheduled appointments and be available at your booth throughout all business sessions on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Buyers may share their appointment schedule with a Rotation Delegate or Operator Representative.

If Requirements Are Not Met

Bus and Tour operators who do not meet Buyer qualifications will be invoiced $445 USD unless an exception has been made by ABA.

Seller – Appointment Delegate

Members: $1,845 Early Bird | $1,995 Regular (per registrant)
Non-Members: $2,295 Early Bird | $2,445 Regular (per registrant)

Number Allowed per Company: Minimum one (1); additional delegates based on prior Buyer demand

Appointment Delegates schedule and conduct prescheduled appointments with Buyers during Marketplace business sessions. Sellers move from Buyer booth to Buyer booth on the Business Floor for their meetings.

The Seller appointment schedule includes 54 appointment slots.

How Many Appointment Delegates Are Allowed?

  • One (1) Appointment Delegate is available to all registered companies if space allows.
  • Two (2) Appointment Delegates are allowed if your company received 32+ Buyer requests at Marketplace 2026.
  • Three (3) Appointment Delegates are allowed if your company received 64+ Buyer requests at Marketplace 2026.

First-time attendees and companies that did not attend Marketplace 2026 may register one (1) Appointment Delegate.

Appointment Sharing Delegates attend Marketplace without their own appointment schedule.

Available to ABA member categories: Bus Manufacturers, Hardware Suppliers, and Service Suppliers.

Travel industry suppliers may not purchase booth space but may receive booth benefits through sponsorship at the Contributor level or higher. See our Sponsorship Guide for more information.

Maritz is the official housing provider for ABA Marketplace 2027. Other offers are not approved and may be invalid or nonrefundable. Please report any unauthorized solicitations to your organization or to Maritz. Special negotiated rates are offered through the housing bureau until January 11, 2027

ABA strongly encourages all Marketplace attendees to book their accommodations at one of the official 2027 Marketplace host hotels. ABA assumes significant financial risk when contracting guest room blocks for Marketplace. When delegates choose to stay outside the official room block, it increases this risk and may lead to reduced room availability and higher hotel and registration rates in future years.

To help protect the long-term success and affordability of Marketplace, attendees who reserve accommodations outside the official host hotels will be assessed an additional $300 fee following the event.

If your company maintains a formal travel policy that restricts hotel selection, please forward documentation of that policy to meetings@buses.org for review.

Please note that Calgary-area attendees who prefer to commute to the event are exempt from this policy.

All housing accommodations and cancellations must be coordinated through the ABA housing bureau. ABA is not responsible for housing cancellations.
