BISC & BusMARC Summer Summit

The 2026 ABA BISC/BusMARC Summer Summit brings together the professionals responsible for keeping motorcoach operations safe, reliable, and moving forward.

Rooted in the longstanding leadership and expertise of BISC and BusMARC, and strengthened this year through the involvement of ABA’s Driving Force Council, the summit expands the conversation across safety, maintenance, operations, workforce development, leadership, and compliance.

Held this year in Pittsburgh, PA, this member-only event features expert-led super sessions, focused concurrent sessions, peer exchange, and off-site educational experiences designed to deliver practical strategies attendees can take back to their organizations immediately.

From regulatory readiness and fleet performance to workforce stability, leadership alignment, insurance pressures, and operational excellence, the summit is built for operators and industry partners looking to strengthen safety culture, support frontline teams, improve decision-making, and stay ahead in a rapidly changing operating environment.

Elevating Fleet Excellence Through National Leadership

ABA’s national two-day convening serves as the industry’s primary forum for safety, maintenance, compliance, and certification engagement.

HOUSING POLICY
ABA strongly encourages all attendees to book their accommodations at the host hotel, Embassy Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Downtown. ABA assumes significant financial risk when contracting guest room blocks for events. When delegates choose to stay outside the official room block, it increases this risk and may lead to reduced room availability and higher hotel and registration rates in future years.

To help protect the long-term success and affordability of events, attendees who reserve accommodations outside the official host hotel will be assessed an additional $179 fee following the event.

If your company maintains a formal travel policy that restricts hotel selection, please forward documentation of that policy to vosman@buses.org for review.

Please note that Pittsburgh-area attendees who prefer to commute to the event are exempt from this policy.
